INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD dissertation)
The purpose of research is development of virtual laboratories on the subject
of the textbook “Zoology for grade 7” and improvement
of the methodology for
their implementation in the educational process in general education schools.
Tasks of research are:
determination of technologies for creating virtual laboratories based on the
textbook “Zoology for grade 7” and their implementation in the educational process
in general education schools;
development of laboratory topics corresponding to computer simulation models
for creating virtual laboratories based on the textbook “Zoology for grade 7” and
improving the methodology for their use in general education schools;
creation of virtual laboratories using computer simulation models on the topics
of the textbook “Zoology for grade 7” and their implementation in the educational
process in general education schools;
conducting experiments using virtual laboratories in general education schools,
developed on the basis of the textbook “Zoology for grade 7”.
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows:
the content of laboratory classes conducted in general schools using the
textbook “Zoology for 7

grade”, based on the priority
of reflective attitude of
students to the theoretical and practical aspects of virtual laboratories in their
independent activity created with the aim of revealing their internal and external
features has been clarified;
the methodology for teaching virtual laboratories
using a web application
program created from the textbook “Zoology for 7
th
grade” in general schools, based
on the priority of motivational (reflection, in-depth learning, anti-egalitarianism,
daltonism) technologies in an integrative
environment has been improved;
the professionally oriented methodology for organizing laboratory classes using
virtual laboratories created according to the textbook “Zoology for 7
th
grade” in
secondary schools based on the differentiated use of tasks with visual content that
develop ability of students to understand experiment and compare information in the
process of adaptive learning has been improved;
the didactic support for the formation of knowledge and skills of students in
general schools on the basis of virtual laboratories based on the inclusion of control
tasks developed in the subjects of the textbook “Zoology for 7
th
grade” into the
didactic process with individual influence based on the
integration of subjects has
been improved.
