The purpose of the course work: the main purpose of any informative speech is to provide the listener with information that he does not already know. In the preparation of the coursework, any emotional or arbitrary evaluation of the words is avoided, as this may interfere with the correct interpretation of the message by the listener. Thus, in most cases, the speaker seems careless, businesslike and cautious. This style is used in various formal situations and is stylistically neutral. Reading educational information in the classroom or on a television documentary, reading administrative documents, and reporting in business meetings are examples of the informational style.
