Challenge the students to guess the unit title

Encourage students to take turns to guess the missing
letters. Tell them that they can only guess five wrong
letters. Next, check that
the students understand the
difference between
fun
and
funny
by asking ‘Which word
describes something you like doing or you enjoy?’ (

‘Which word describes something that makes you laugh?’

) Then, in groups, ask them to write a list of four
things that are fun about school and four things that are
not fun, e.g.:

ABOUT YOU
First, brainstorm a list of different types of school trips
(e.g.
a visit to a museum, sports activities
)
onto the board,
then ask the students to take turns to ask and answer the
questions in pairs.

the young people are doing in each one before they
match them to the words and phrases.
