QuickFind Contact
Users asked to be able to quickly search for and display a contact item whether they were working in Outlook e-mail, calendar, tasks, or Internet information. The QuickFind Contact tool on the Outlook toolbar allows users to simply type part of a contact name to do a search and display the contact.

Find Folder
Searching for a folder can be a time-consuming task because Outlook 97 required users to scroll manually through large folder hierarchies in the folder list in Outlook. This could be especially cumbersome when users are searching for a Public Folder on Exchange Server. Outlook 2000 allows users to search for local or Microsoft Exchange Server folders based on the folder name or other properties of the folder.
