Integration With NetShow
Users can easily schedule times to view an online broadcast, or “show.” Users can schedule a time on the NetShow server by selecting “NetShow” on the Online tab of an appointment. (See the previous figure.) They can also send the scheduled time to others as a meeting request that they can add to their calendars. When reminders appear for NetShow, users can click a button to start watching the show immediately, without manually retyping a URL to connect.
Using vCard technology, users of Outlook can easily exchange contact information across the Internet with vCard-compliant applications. vCard provides an electronic business card format, which allows people to identify themselves without restating or rekeying the information. Users of Outlook have the option to forward their contact information from Outlook in the vCard format and can even include their own vCard in a custom Signature when sending messages. Users of Outlook also can automatically create contacts in Outlook by dragging and dropping onto their Contacts folder vCards that they receive in e-mail or find on Web sites.
