10. Lack of concentration on pronunciation
Everyone has heard that the pronunciation of English and Russian is significantly
different. You can perfectly know the grammar, have a good vocabulary, and even
be able to apply the knowledge in practice, but ... talk with a terrible accent. The
reasons for this disappointing phenomenon can be many: the choice of an
incompetent tutor, insufficient allocation of time for practicing pronunciation,
ignoring audio courses, lack of live communication in English ... The main problem
is that it becomes more difficult to eradicate pronunciation over time.
