Research methodology. 
Today, due to the emergence of modern programming 
languages, there is a need to increase the effectiveness of teaching these languages and 
develop algorithmic and logical thinking of students in the continuous education system. 
This, in turn, requires new approaches to teaching programming languages, including the 
improvement of the model for increasing the effectiveness of teaching. 
The systematic-activity approach is considered important in the student's ability to 
learn, that is, the subject's self-development and self-improvement through conscious and 
active assimilation of new social experience. Therefore, it is necessary to use a systematic-
active approach in teaching programming languages to students in general secondary 
schools. 
The future activities of students in professional educational institutions include 
computerization and management of enterprises and organizations. Therefore, it is 
effective to use a problem-based approach in teaching students to program in professional 
educational institutions. The problem-based approach is practice-oriented and presents a 
programming language as a tool for solving specific problems[1]. 
At the same time, it is effective to use a cognitive approach in the educational process, 
including in higher education institutions, to increase the effectiveness of teaching 
programming languages. The cognitive approach develops students' creative abilities and 
research skills for independent research on programming languages, data processing, 
systematization, and generalization [2]. 
Through these approaches, it is effective to use Web-quest, problem-based, Case-Stady, 
programmed educational technologies and information-educational environments to 
increase the effectiveness of teaching programming languages in the continuous education 
system. With the help of these, the competence of students to prepare practical projects 
with the help of programming languages is developed.
