Part of the content of the decision is to charge one of the current deputy heads
of state administrative bodies and economic associations with coordinating
production of the green economy.
“Green” economy means an economy aimed at reducing environmental risks,
efficient use of resources and sustainable development without harming the
environment. It is closely related to ecological economics, but has a more politically
applied orientation.
Green economy is precisely defined as any economic theory according to which
the economy is a component of the ecosystem in which it lives. A holistic approach
to the subject is typical, with economic ideas mixed with any number of other topics
depending on the particular theorist.

the environmental movement, the
peace movement, Green politics,
green anarchism, and the anti-globalization
movement have used the term to describe very different ideas outside of mainstream
economics.
The strategy of transition to the “green” economy in 2019 was approved in our
country. In this strategy, the following were defined as the main tasks:

increasing energy efficiency of the economy and rational use of natural
resources through technological modernization and
development of financial
mechanisms;
inclusion of “green” criteria based on advanced international standards in the
priorities of state investments and expenditures;
support the implementation of pilot projects in the directions of transition to a
“green” economy by developing mechanisms of state incentives, public-private
partnerships, and activating cooperation with international financial institutions;
development of the system of training and retraining of personnel related to the
labor market in the “green” economy at the expense of encouraging investment in
education, developing cooperation with leading foreign educational institutions and
research centers;
strengthening international cooperation in the field of “green” economy,
including by concluding bilateral and multilateral agreements.
Today, it is envisaged to develop the Water Code in order to codify the legal
documents in the field of water and water use. A new edition of the Law “On Waste”
is
being prepared, which provides the legal basis for the introduction of modern
technologies of waste management.
Implementation of work related to agriculture and water management,
solid
household waste, development of institutional foundations for the introduction of
“green” technologies, integration of the principles of “green economy” into
education and science are among the important tasks mentioned in this document.
