Аnnоtаtiоn: The study of the category of uncertainty in linguistics is carried
out from different positions. In English linguistics, the category of certainty-
indeterminacy is associated primarily with the function of pronouns, in Germanic
languages, where the main means of expressing this category is special linguistic
units, with the article. In pragmatics, which attracts the attention of scientists from
different countries, uncertainty is considered as one of the means to achieve the
perlocutionary effect of one or another statement.

INTRОDUСTIОN
Undoubtedly, some semantic inaccuracy, fuzziness and vagueness are
inherent not only in the units studied in this article, the meanings of which have a
“combined” cluster character, but also in lexical meanings in general.

or whatever and whenever; etc. /etcetera/etcetera; (and) (all) that/those sort(s) /
type(s) / kind of thing; (or) anything (like that); (and) staff (like that); and that; and

on.
RЕSULTS АND DISСUSSIОN
Let us further present the classification of lexical phrases of this category, in
which the required lexemes are combined according to the principle of the type of
allied connection, and we will start with a small but most commonly used group,
