and brainstorm a list of modern technology onto the
board. Include
smartphone
and
laptop
. Ask the students
to decide which of the things they could and couldn’t live
without. Encourage them to use comparative adjectives,
e.g
. A smartphone is more useful than a laptop because you
can phone people and take photos with it
.
ABOUT YOU
You can begin the class and introduce the topic of the unit
by showing the video and asking students to complete
the video worksheet. After they have completed the video
activities, ask them to take turns to ask and answer the
questions in pairs.
