innovations in the energy industry still needs improvement. Some concepts of modern energy used
in the process of introducing new technologies are not explained in legislation. And there are still
some gaps in the rules for conducting business relations for the purchase and sale of electricity.
The old view of enterprises on the electricity storage system becomes a kind of barrier,
hindering the development of technology and requiring compliance of all parameters of generating
equipment. Fulfilling these requirements when integrating innovations in the electricity market is
practically impossible, and the requirements themselves are not justified in the context of modern
trends.
On the way to building a target digital energy model, introducing the concept of “electricity
storage system” into the industry will be able to consolidate the special properties of the element and
subject of the system, combat obstacles to the formation of a strategic energy model with the latest
digital technologies, and develop distributed generation with the help
of properly implemented
technological combinations.
The technological basis for attracting and implementing intelligent innovations in the
processes of electricity generation, its transmission and distribution between consumers in the
Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of global energy trends, is electricity generation based
on alternative sources. But at the same time, it is impossible to completely abandon traditional sources
of electricity. Nevertheless, we are still in a period of energy transition of the whole world to
renewable energy sources, when it is still necessary to use traditional energy sources, only with the
maximum preference for using modern energy-efficient equipment with
innovative solutions to
technological problems.
In order to develop the national production of auxiliary and high-tech equipment for
generating electricity, it is advisable to attract high-tech and innovative technologies to the energy
industry. The development of digital technologies has a decisive role in this process.
Strategically important areas for the development of enterprises that are participants in the
energy market are:
-projects for the production and sale of electricity from renewable energy sources, carrying
out this activity on the basis of the country’s legislative framework;
- development of the national market for the production of high-tech equipment for generating
energy from renewable energy sources, in particular solar panels, and entry into foreign markets with
competitive products;
-formation and implementation of measures to improve the industry infrastructure,
introduction
of advanced technologies, cooperation with foreign markets and preservation of the
ecosystem;
Based on all of the above, the following directions can be determined to achieve certain goals
in the generation and distribution of electricity:
- development of measures for issuing permits for the simultaneous conduct of activities for
the generation, transmission and purchase and sale of electricity, not exceeding a capacity of up to 25
MW. Taking into account the current capabilities of the market and its participants to give permission
for the generation of electricity not only from alternative energy sources, but also from traditional
energy sources, subject to the use of modern microgeneration technologies in the production process;
- providing electricity producers based on renewable energy sources with the opportunity to
pay the cost of technological connection for 10 years on the installment principle. In some ways, these
mini power plants can serve as an analogue of nuclear and hydroelectric power plants;
These changes or any other new trends, of course, require some important changes in the
country's
legislation, which can serve as the foundation for the development of renewable energy
sources and encourage its use by private individuals, which in turn will reduce losses of electricity
during transmission. All these measures can solve the problem of providing electricity to the
population living in remote areas without loss of electricity during transmission and expenses of
financial resources that enterprises are forced to make to maintain power lines in the required
condition during operation.

These changes can become the basis for the development of renewable energy sources in the
domestic market and create the necessary ground for the implementation of peer-to-peer trading at all
levels, which in turn will begin the formation of a modern decentralized national energy industry
infrastructure. Under these conditions, the pace of development of production of new technologies or
equipment by domestic manufacturers will improve and the demand for these goods will increase.
The choice between traditional and new technologies will create a healthy atmosphere of competition,
providing the opportunity to evaluate the parameters of energy-saving
technologies and select the
best options for energy supply to consumers.
Based on the results of the study, one can also note the role of highly qualified personnel in
the development of enterprises. Human resources potential here is seen as the ability of workers in
the intellectual and creative sphere, when they can adapt to the pace of industry change and master
new technologies, as well as work to improve existing ones. In order to achieve the best results in this
matter, of course, it is necessary to periodically improve the qualifications of personnel by involving
them in the necessary training programs that can provide new knowledge on the digitalization of the
electric power industry.
Consistent work to overcome the above barriers can provide the enterprise with good
conditions for the introduction of new technological solutions or any other innovations and will
increase their implementation efficiency.
In the energy industry, the creation of new business models and
increasing the interest of
enterprises in customer preferences are essential factors in the development of innovation. This
ensures that enterprises make the right choice of strategic development path taking into account new
trends in global energy.
When choosing a strategy for the digitalization of production, energy enterprises pay most
attention to such economic indicators as: the projected amount of profit from the implementation of
investment projects, an increase in the efficiency of the enterprise, the expected risks from the
introduction of innovations in the production process or sales of products, changes in the enterprise
infrastructure. In addition, enterprises need to take into account the goals of the Paris Agreement, as
well as global trends in combating climate pollution and the trend of greening or decarbonization of
the economy to meet the modern requirements of the energy market.
In connection with the current conditions, when the whole world is struggling to green the
economy to improve the climatic conditions of the entire globe, which in turn has an impact on all
spheres of human activity, enterprises must comply with such modern trends and requirements of
global energy as decarbonization (through the transition to RES), digitalization (to
increase
production efficiency) and decentralization (to provide electricity to settlements in distant regions).
In this regard, the figure 1. shows the main groups of interrelated tools for introducing
innovation, divided into three groups:
