THE INFLUENCE OF READING ON CHILDREN’S NARRATIVE WRITING

Abstract:
The article shows how reading exposes children to vocabulary,
language structures, and
stories that they can connect to their writing. The article highlights how to develop children's creativity,
imagination, critical thinking and empathy in reading, which will change their writing. By encouraging
children
to read widely and regularly, teachers and parents can help develop competent and confident young writers.
