Edward Logan. They lived on the Perley Farnell farm, now the

farm of Bates Fraser in 1980. They had 4 daus. and 1 son.

in 1873. They had 2 daus.

21-3 Mary was killed in climbing over a log fence. The top log

fell across her chest causing instant death.

22-4 Mary, another daughter died at 18 years.

23-5 Robert md. Susan Archibald. They had 3 daus. and moved to

Minnesota. Edward Logan died Nov. 23, 1863 age 59 years. His

widow Janet moved to Minnesota with her son and daughter.

8-2 Ruth (2nd dau. of James and Elizabeth Johnson Guild) was

unmarried. She befriended unwanted children and anyone in

trouble. She had her own home not far from her father’s large

one. Her father lived on the Fulton Andrews farm, 1980. After

Ruth’s father, James died, her mother lived with her until Ruth

died. Later Mrs. Guild lived with her youngest son, Alexander as

he had inherited the home farm.

md. Ida Dickey. William Henry Guild lived for a time on the Adam

Braden property, to which his father had moved.

Later he moved to the farm where his grandfather had lived. The

house belongs to Fulton Andrews in 1980. His family grew up on

this farm. He represented the district in the county council for

a number of years. William and Ida had 3 sons and 4 daus. Later

he sold the homeplace and moved to the farm where Doug MacKay

lives, 1980.

David Archibald 16th on Nov. 1, 1832. They lived on the farm

where Alun Jones, Stewart and Roy Archibald resided in 1964.

Owned by Mr. & Mrs. Legg, 1980. Her descendants are listed in

the Archibald genealogy.

The farm below Alun Jones’ was owned by Mr. Smullen, David

Hamilton, Robert McGunnigle, Walter Wicks and Mr. & Mrs.

Buchanan, 1980.

Eliza Archibald. Alexander and wife Eliza Archibald Guild lived

first on the Thomas Ryan farm in Glenmore. Later moved to the

present Harris Gould farm (1965) but lived in another house in

the old orchard. This house burned. Then he traded with John

Gould, whose place was about one mile behind the Stanley Andrew's

house, then moved to the present Bates Fraser farm in Elmsvale

where he died. They had 9 children who grew to adults and 2 died

young. 2 sons and 7 daus.
